Nippu is complete ​Ravi Teja's Nippu has completed its entire shooting, except for one song, which will be filmed at a set to be erected in Hyderabad. The team has landed in Hyderabad after wrapping up two songs in picturesque locations in Turkey. Directed by Gunashekar and produced by Y.V.S. Chowdhary, the film has music by Taman. The audio is likely to be launched by the end of this month. The producer informed that the film would be released during Sankranthi 2012. SPB turns director Veteran playback singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, popularly called SPB, is making his debut as a director with a Telugu film, which is under pre-production. "Script for the movie is getting ready and I will reveal the details soon," the singer said while talking to reporters during the inauguration of a private hospital in Kakinada on Monday. Compromise in Jr. NTR accident case The Lok Adalat at Suryapet has disposed off a 2-year-old accident case involving the vehicle of actor Jr. NTR, following a compromise between the accused and the prosecution. Case against Vidya Balan

Case against Vidya Balan Police registered a FIR against actress Vidya Balan, following a complaint by a Hyderabad based advocate, who alleged that she had posed for indecent photographs on the posters and promos of The Dirty Picture. The complainant, Sai Krishna Azad, had last month approached the Nampally court and filed a petition, alleging that the posters and promos of the film were "obscene" and were "causing inconvenience to women" in the Nallakunta area and other parts of Hyderabad. The petitioner further alleged that the posters and hoardings were "spoiling the minds of the people and causing harm to the society". The court directed the Nallakunta Police to investigate on the complaint and file a status report before it. Following a court directive, a case was booked against Vidya Balan, Nallakunta Inspector of Police M. Suman Kumar said.

3 Rascals postponed Ace producer Dil Raju's 3 Rascals, the Telugu edition of Shankar's Nanban, has been postponed by two weeks due to the shortage of theatres in the state. However, some sources said that the producer took the decision to avoid BO clash with other major releases like Businessman, Bodyguard and Poola Rangadu. Starring Vijay, Jiiva, Sriram and Ileana in the lead, the film was set to release on January 14, but now the film will hit the screens only on January 26. Urvasi turns director 28 years after she stepped in films, senior South Indian actress Urvasi, who is currently busy shooting for the Malayalam film Lekshmi Vilasom Renuka Makan Raghuraman, is debuting as a director. Urvasi's directorial venture will be a Tamil film, written by renowned writer Mohan. The cast and the title of the film are yet to be finalised. It is interesting to note that some of Urvasi's contemporaries like Ambika and Revathy are already into direction. Besides, it is not the first time Urvasi is working behind the screen. According to this reports, Prince Mahesh Babu's Dookudu is the most searched Telugu film in 2011. Dookudu is listed among the top 10 famous films in India and it is the only Telugu film in the list. This is the first time in Tollywood's history that a Telugu film is being released in the US with subtitles. Starring Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead, the film is being released in three languages: Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously. The audio will be released on December 22 at a function to be held in Shilpakala Vedika, Madhapur, Hyderabad. The film is gearing for Sankranthi release on January 11.

Nippu confirmed on January 13 The release date of Ravi Teja's upcoming action entertainer Nippu has been confirmed. The film is all set to hit the silver screens on January 13, 2012, producer Y.V.S.
